Hankook Tire Celebrates 11-Year Streak of Exclusive High-Performance Tire Supply to BMW Driving Center

Seoul, Korea, January 23, 2025 — Global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) continues its exclusive supply of four high-performance tire models to the BMW Driving Center, a multifunctional automotive culture hub operated by BMW Group Korea.

Since the BMW Driving Center’s opening in 2014, Hankook Tire has been the exclusive supplier for all test-drive vehicles used in track and driving programs. For 11 consecutive years, this partnership has demonstrated Hankook Tire’s top-tier technology and reinforced the premium value of its global unified brand, "Hankook."

The tires supplied to the BMW Driving Center feature the world’s first full lineup of EV-specific tires, including the all-season ‘iON evo AS SUV’ from the ‘iON’ brand. Additionally, the premium sports models ‘Ventus S1 evo3’ and ‘Ventus V12 evo2’ from the flagship ‘Ventus’ tire brand are included, along with the high-performance SUV winter tire ‘Winter i*cept evo3 X’ from the ultra-high-performance winter tire lineup, ‘Winter i*cept.’

Hankook tires are fitted on showroom display vehicles at the BMW Driving Center. Furthermore, the “Hankook” branding is prominently featured on various trackside elements, including big boards, fence boards, and test-drive vehicles, effectively enhancing the company’s premium brand image for visitors to the center.

Hankook Tire also plans to deliver a unique and unparalleled driving experience this year by offering a variety of customer experience programs in collaboration with the BMW Driving Center.

Since 2011, Hankook Tire has been supplying original equipment (OE) tires for popular BMW models, beginning with the premium compact car brand MINI and extending to the ‘BMW 1 Series’ to ‘BMW 5 Series,’ as well as the ‘BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X5,’ and the luxury flagship sedan ‘BMW 7 Series.’ In 2024, Hankook further solidified its partnership in the high-performance tire segment by expanding its portfolio to include the seventh-generation BMW high-performance sedan, the ‘BMW M5.’

Notably, in 2022, Hankook began supplying OE tires for BMW Brand’s first all-electric Gran Coupe, the ‘BMW i4,’ earning recognition from BMW for its best-in-class technology in EV-specific tire development.
